Peanut Butter Does Not Provide ‘Nut’ Benefits, Study Shows

A study done to determine the benefits of nuts has found that while, as a general rule, nuts had a twenty percent chance to reduce inflammation, peanut butter had absolutely no beneficial effect on those who ate it.
While this may prove a surprise to those who have been touting the health benefits of peanuts for years, they may rest easy. The study did not look for anything that would result from the steady consumption of beans, the family of which the peanut is a part.
So, the next time you eat a peanut, enjoy it with the full knowledge that the reason for which health ‘experts’ will insist that you are getting none of the benefits of nuts is that they are nuts, trying to claim that a peanut, which is a bean should behave like a nut.
